Luca Marziani – Technical Director

Luca Marziani was born on October 19, 1979 in Civita Castellana (Viterbo).
His very first time on horseback was at the age of 5 during a holiday in the mountains.
The first success of his youth career was the bronze medal at the Italian Juniores Championships
(with Orame II). Followed by the silver medal at the Young Rider Italian Championships (on Amante della Quercia).
On January 10, 2012, he became Leading Aircraftman of Air force and in the same period he was recognized by the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports as federal instructor for sporting merit.

Luca Marziani has signed numerous important individual international placings and has contributed to 5 team medals in the Nations Cup in the last 3 years. Since 2011 he is a fundamental element of the first Italian team.

Andrea Marini Agostini

Andrea Marini Agostini, born in Rome on 28th March 1990.
Graduated from the “Manfredi Azzarita” scientific High School.Federal level I instructor since 2014. Authorization to ride 2nd level since 2006.Italian juniores champion in 2006.Participation with excellent results in CSIOP, CSIOJ and CSIOY with the Italian national team.Placements in national and international competitions.In 2010 he participated in the prestigious CSI4* “Hampton Classic” in Bridgehampton in the United States.

Working experience:

In 2008, Andrea Marini Agostini worked at the stable of the Belgian horseman Peter Postelman. In 2009 he began his experience as an instructor at the Cascian country club. He took part in many stages with Italian and foreign technicians, such as Nelson Pessoa and Giorgio Nuti. In 2010 he rode for two months at the stable of the young American rider Dominica Wambold. He has collaborated in the Complete field with the Olympic horseman Marco Cappai, (student of Sir La Fanesina). In 2014 he worked at the Suno Riding Club alongside Antonio Tabarini – master of excellence for the Olympic disciplines. In 2015 he returned to work at the Cascian country club, where he took care of the training of young horses and the agonistic pony, junior and young rider sector, in collaboration with Giulio Marini Agostini (II level federal instructor) and Paola D’angelo (III level federal instructor).
Dal 2018 entra a far parte dello staff tecnico della S.I.R. La Farnesina

Sara Ciuffini

Sara Ciuffini, nasce a Roma il 5/12/1987
Diplomata presso il primo liceo artistico Ripetta
Amazzone con autorizzazione a montare di 1°G e iscritta alla fise dal 1993.
Nel 2008 consegue la qualifica di Tecnico Federale di Equitazione di Campagna Liv.1
Nel 2008 inizia a lavorare presso il Circolo Ippico dell’ Almone collaborando alla preparazione atletico/tecnica di cavalli e giovani cavalli insieme ad Alesio Mazzeo Cav. 2°G/ istruttore 3° Liv. Fise occupandosi della gestione della scuderia
Nel 2011 è Istruttore Federale di Liv. 1 FISE si forma presso il Centro Militare di Montelibretti
Nel 2012 inizia ad insegnare in alcuni centri, occupandosi sia della scuola base che dell’agonismo nel settore pony e cavalli
Dal 2019 gestisce il settore Pony presso la SIR

Eugenia Caprilli

Eugenia Caprilli (class ’75) began to ride in 1986, and in 1987 she moved to SIR.

In 1997 she began to teach horse riding at various riding schools on both horses and ponies.

From 2001 onwards she carried out various activities in the equestrian field and in 2002 she also started to create websites, mostly for activities related to horses.

She is an instructor of 1st level FISE.
She has the FISE first-degree license and other federal qualifications.
She also has several publications in magazines and some interviews on TV.

In July of 2006 she took part with the Italian team in Ireland at the AIRC International Jumping Show, winning the prize for the best presentation and qualifying sixth in the Nations Cup.

Since 1986 at CONI, she began to practice country-side horse riding (alongside with the work in horse riding school finalized to obstacle jumping) and has continued to practice it over the years at different stables.

From 1993 for several years she has been riding at the Agricultural Holding Aurora – a well-known breeding of PSA and Akhal-tekè – where she has been able to gain more experience with many foals and stallions of these two splendid breeds.

Since 1996/1997 she has been registered in the Achal-Tekkiner Zuchter und Freunde e.V., an international German association of riders, breeders, owners and enthusiasts in general of the Akhal-tekè breed.

She was a founding member of the Akhal-tekè Italy Association for which she was webmaster for many years and also vice president for the biennium 2008-2009.

Roberta Riccioni

Eugenia Caprilli (classe ’75) inizia a montare nel 1986, e nel 1987 si trasferisce alla SIR.

Nel 1997 inizia ad insegnare equitazione presso vari maneggi sia su cavalli che su ponies.

Dal 2001 in poi svolge varie attività nell’ambito equestre e nel 2002 inizia anche a realizzare siti internet, quasi sempre per attività legate ai cavalli.

E’ istruttore di I° livello FISE.
Ha la patente di primo grado FISE e altre qualifiche federali.
Inoltre ha al suo attivo diverse pubblicazioni su riviste di settore e alcune interviste in tv.

L’1 e 2 Luglio 2006 partecipa, con la squadra italiana, in Irlanda, all’AIRC International Show Jumping, vincendo il premio per la migliore presentazione e qualificandosi sesta nella Nations Cup.

Sin dal 1986 al CONI, ha iniziato a praticare equitazione di campagna (insieme al lavoro in maneggio finalizzato al salto ostacoli) e ha continuato a praticarla negli anni presso diverse scuderie

Dal 1993 per diversi anni ha montato presso l’Az. Agr. Aurora, noto allevamento di PSA e Akhal-tekè, dove ha avuto modo di fare esperienza con molti puledri e stalloni di queste due splendide razze.

Dal 1996/1997 è iscritta all’ Achal-Tekkiner Zuchter und Freunde e.V., associazione tedesca internazionale di cavalieri, allevatori, proprietari e appassionati in genere della razza Akhal-tekè.

E’ stata socio fondatore dell’Ass. Akhal-tekè Italia, per la quale è stata per molti anni webmaster e per il biennio 2008-2009 anche vicepresidente.
