SIR La Farnesina: Inclusive Sports and Animal-Assisted Interventions Are Back

The SIR La Farnesina is pleased to announce the return of its activities dedicated to Inclusive Sports and Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI), thanks to a new partnership with Stagnesto Team.
The initiative aims to make the equestrian world increasingly accessible and inclusive, creating opportunities for participation, connection and personal growth through sport and interaction with animals.
Inclusive Sports
The activities will be led by Valentina Coppa and will include programmes designed to encourage everyone’s active participation, recognising individual abilities while promoting movement, collaboration and the enjoyment of practising sport together.
Animal-Assisted Interventions
The interventions will be delivered by Stagnesto Team, comprising Monica Ernesto, Egle Gentilezza and Andrea Stagnitti. Through interaction with animals, and with due consideration for each participant’s needs and individual characteristics, the activities will focus on well-being, communication, social interaction and the development of individual strengths.

This initiative reflects the belief that inclusion means more than simply giving everyone the opportunity to participate. It also means creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and free to express themselves, respecting their own pace and abilities.
Sport thus becomes much more than competition: it is a means of building relationships, sharing experiences and growing together, offering new opportunities for everyone.

Location: SIR La Farnesina, Via Monti della Farnesina 30, Rome, Italy.
